The name Acote comes from a french word “next to” or “beside”. The table is built by gluing a series of varying FSC birch plywood profiles together to form a compartment based storage integrated top. When assembled and sanded, the plywood edge grain takes on an exotic look similar to Wenge wood thus altering a typically utilitarian material into something interesting. The steel powder coat painted base elevates the wood structure finished with a 6mm tempered glass top.
