Here are a couple of early renderings for a new public seating prototype. I designed a handful of new pieces of furniture for veteran Queen Street restaurant NOCE.
This style was partially client driven but my goal was to create a form outside of my comfort zone. The result is a generously proportioned, curvaceous, almost regal looking one and a half seater. This series is best suited for contract, hospitality and institutional applications.
1, 2 and 3-seater versions as well a lighter scale tub chair for residential use will be available. Come by the Interior Design Show Friday January 20th on trade day. I’ll be showing the chair for the Prototype exhibit within Studio North.
